One of the largest crowds attending this tournament. the weather was cold and windy but this did not hamper the tournament. Arnold Reigger won the open all around trophy for his total of 362. High overall woman was Punkin Flock with 724 x 800. In open competition Reigger won with 742 x 800. This is the year that Joe Davison retired from professional shooting and professional work. Recovering from a serious accident he hobbled onto the shooting grounds at St. Pete. and won the 16yd. State Championship. This was the year that delegate Carl Mayhue entered and passed a motion at the annual A.T.A. meeting, at the Grand, for the recongition by the ATA for state class Championships. The ATA accepted the motion to permit the states to purchase ATA emblems and have them put on state class trophies. By odd coincidence the first Class A  “ATA” trophy awarded  was won by Carl Mayhue the following year.

Elected Officers: President - W.Gause, V. President - P.Ashlock, Sec/Tres. - L. Sadler,                 Delegate - C. Mayhue
