Gator Skeet and Trap Club is the Gainesville area's premium shooting facility. In addition to 9 trap fields and 4 skeet fields, the club boasts a five stand sporting clay field and an International Olympic trap bunker.
In the air-conditioned clubhouse shooters can relax with a soft drink or load their own shotshells on one of the club's reloading machines. Reloading supplies and equipment are available for purchase, with shot, powder, wads, and primers available for most shotgun gauges. The club can also special order makes and sizes of reloading equipment not usually stocked.
In addition to reloading supplies, Gator Skeet and Trap Club also has a fine selection of accessories and gear to make your shooting safe and enjoyable. Shotgun shells, glasses, hearing protection, shooting vests, gloves and cleaning supplies are available. Members may also special order shotguns through the club.
Whether you are warming up for hunting season or practicing for serious competition, Gator Skeet and Trap is the place for you. There are leagues throughout the year where through handicapping shooters of all ability levels can enjoy some friendly competition. Then, on the final night of each league, competition and comraderie mix with a cookout and awards presentation.
While Gator Skeet and Trap Club is open to the public, club memberships are available for only $50 per year (Oct. 1 - Sept. 30). Members shoot at reduced rates and purchase reloading supplies at reduced prices. Shooting lessons and coaching can be arranged. The club facilities are available for special event shoots by clubs, organizations, businesses,etc.
